How it all began...
a comedic actor, drawn to stories with depth.
Adopted from Manila, The Philippines, Anthony grew up in small town suburbia known as Linglestown, Pennsylvania. Youngest of 3 brothers, he grew up in the 1990s in a predominantly white neighborhood, quickly growing accustomed to watching the likes of Jim Carrey, John Candy, and Will Smith as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on television. He understood at a young age that Comedy could not only be used to entertain others, but also perhaps to aid oneself in trudging through some of life's most complex roadblocks. Specifically, he turned to watching Robin Williams as Genie in Disney's Aladdin for the tougher roadblocks...Starting out as a competitive tap dancer at 5 years old, Anthony eventually found his way to the theatre stage, and developed a love for the craft of Acting. After a bachelor's degree in Theatre Performance, and a Master's Degree in Acting for Film, Anthony booked his first role in Netflix's "Friends From College", and the following year joined SAG-AFTRA while on the set of Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy Vs. The Reverend. Anthony is drawn to standout Comedic performances in seemingly darker shows: examples being Zach Cherry in Apple TV's Severance, Murray Bartlett in HBO's The White Lotus, and Merritt Wever in Showtime's Nurse Jackie. As he continues to pursue his passion of Acting, he enjoys his life, happily married to his husband, Pierce Motte, residing in NYC with their one-of-a-kind Labradoodle, Lannister. Yes, he is named after HBO's Game of Thrones.
